Grid-Tied Solar

Reduce Bills, Stay Connected

The Project

The homeowners wanted to significantly reduce their power bills while staying connected to the grid for reliability during winter months.

We installed a 25-panel system on their north-facing roof, positioned to maximize sun exposure throughout the day. The grid-tie inverter seamlessly manages the flow of power - using solar when available and drawing from the grid when needed.

During summer, the system generates far more power than the household uses. The excess is sold back to the grid, turning their roof into a money-making asset.

The monitoring system shows real-time production and consumption, helping the owners understand their energy usage and optimize their savings.

"Our power bills have dropped from $350 to around $70 a month. Some months we actually get a credit! Should have done this years ago."
